This time, I want to explain about News Items. Read carefully!

Definition 

News item text is a text which informs readers about events of the day. The events are considered newsworthy or important. It means if there is an important event that should be known by many people, then this event deserves news. However, if there are events that people do not deserve, then they are not definitely worth to be news.

Generic Structure 

1. Newsworthy  Events : recounts the event in a summary form
2. Background Events : elaborate what happened, tell what caused the incident
3. Sources : comments by participants, witnesses, authorities and experts involved in the event

Purpose 

1. To inform the readers about newsworthy or important events of the day
2. To present information the readers about newsworthy or important events of the day

Language Features

– Focusing on circumstances (using a simple language in writing the text)
– Using saying verbs: “….”, She said, informed, told, reported.
– Sometimes at the beginning of news, the scene is mentioned : Jakarta – … .. / Kuala Lumpur – …
– Using Past tense in explaining news events. But if it is a fact that until now still happen or still in the form of fact, then can use simple present tense.
– Short, telegraphic information about story captured in headline
– Using adverbs: time, place and manner.
– Uses of material processes to retell the event

My Future

Hola! 

This time, I will tell you guys about my passion, what I want to be in the future, my hobbies, goals/wish, and hopes... 

Actually, I still don't know what my passion is, but I'm interested in the business world. I want to be a wealthy successful businesswoman or an ambassador. 

  

I have many hobbies, including singing, dancing, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.

My goals is that I want to be a successful person, always happy and healthy, can be useful for others, and rich like the Hartono's family. They are the richest family in Indonesia. 

My current wish is that I want to graduate from high school with satisfactory grades and be accepted at SBM (School of Business and Management) ITB or at University of Indonesia (UI) majoring in business economics. 

 

I hope one day, I can join as a member of UNICEF and speak at UN conferences representing Indonesia.

Welcome to my blog! In this blog, I will tell you guys about myself. 

So, here we go...

My name is Nasywa Nayshilla Rahmadissa Budiawan. My nickname is Anes. I am 17 years old this year.  I was born on July 8, 2005. I was born in Bandung. My hobbies are dancing, listening to music, singing, and reading stories.  I am the youngest at home and I have a big sister. I live in Bandung at Kopo Street Sukaleueur No.123B/198A. I love eating fried chicken and noodles, of course accompanied by mineral water or tea. I don't like lamb and not really fond of coffee. I have a unique birthmark on my face, on the right cheek near the eye.  My birthmark is turquoise green. My favorite color is black.  I like listening to all good music, such as the music from EXO, One Direction, Red Velvet, SNSD, and Aespa. I really adore Sehun EXO and Zayn Malik because they are very talented, handsome, and they motivate me a lot. My zodiac sign is Cancer. My Chinese zodiac sign (Shio) is chicken.

My father works as a lecturer at Widyatama University in Bandung and my mother is a housewife.  My sister is a student at Parahyangan University in Bandung and we are 5 years apart. I am very close to my mom and my older sister, and I almost share everything with them. I study at Senior High School 3 Bandung. My dream is to become a successful entrepreneur (in essence I want to be successful and rich HAHAHAHAHA joking, but Amen...). My dream is to become a person who can be useful for many people. I also really want to travel the world with my family. My favorite seasons is winter. I like to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind. I like flowers in spring, rain in summer, leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. I like good books and detective or horror movies. I love travelling. I like to spend most of my time with my family because I enjoy the company of them. I want to study at SBM ITB or at UI (University of Indonesia). My favorite subjects are English, Sociology, Geography and my least favorite subject is mathematics.

I like to read romance, comedy, fantasy, detective, drama, and slice of life genre stories. I read comics and novels. Now I read more online in ''Webtoon'' and ''Wattpad'' applications. However, I also sometimes read stories on google. The applications on my cellphone that I often open include Instagram, line, whatsapp, google, youtube, tiktok, wattpad, webtoon, and many more. Sometimes I also play games on my cellphone, such as Zepeto, Mobile Legends, Among Us, etc. For movies, I like Enola Holmes, disney princess movies, SING 1&2, Encanto, Conjuring, Annabelle, etc. I also sometimes like to watch Korean dramas, including My ID is a Gangnam Beauty, EXO Next Door, Extraordinary you, The Heirs, Birth of a Beauty, 100 Days My Prince, and many more. My favorite cartoons include Spongebob Squarepants, Barbie, Bratz, Tom and Jerry, Mickey Mouse, The Backyardigans, Strawberry Shortcakes. My favorite element is fire. I love naruto anime movies and my favorite character in naruto is Sasuke. I also like sushi, but I can't eat sashimi. I really like cheese and chocolate. I like pizza, especially the meat lovers pizza at Pizza Hut. 

There are many things I want to learn. The first thing I want to learn is i want to learn many languages. The languages I want to learn include English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Chinese, and Arabic. My favorite sport is swimming. I am creative, ambitious, understanding, and love to help others. My weakness is that I am not independent and still childish. Sometimes I also get stressed easily when I have a lot of tasks or assignments. My favorite animals are cats, dragons and wolves. I love cats especially kittens because they are so cute, I like dragons and wolves because they are so cool. The animal I hate the most is the cockroach. I want to learn to drive a car so that I don't need to be picked up again and can be independent if I want to go anywhere. My favorite models are Behati Prinsloo, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Barbara Palvin, Cara Delevigne, Zendaya, Candice. For western female artists I like Taylor Swift, Lily Collins, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj. For male western artists other than Zayn Malik, I like Louis Partridge, Tom Holland, Tom Hiddleston, Andrew Garfield, Chris Hemsworth, etc. I really like ice cream. I usually buy ice cream at baskin robbins, sour sally, wendys, mcdonald's.
